With this 8-week content guide, you’ll have everything mapped out so you can focus on connecting with your readers while launching your book with confidence.
- 8-week content plan: This detailed planner covers everything from 5 weeks before your launch to the weeks after publication, so you’ll always know what to post.
- Blank planner to create your plan: As well as the ideas bank, I’ve included a blank planning document so that you can use the ideas that work best for you at a frequency that works for your schedule.
- Core content pillars guidance and weekly tips: Discover your unique content themes with my brainstorming video (or text exercise for those of you that don’t do video!) and get simple, actionable tips to keep things fresh and fun. I want to help you make your content feel more like a conversation and less like a chore.
- 50+ content ideas: Need inspiration? This bank of ideas is specifically designed to connect with your readers and boost excitement.
- Personal feedback: Used the prompts to create your posts? I’ll be on hand if you want feedback on what you’ve created, and you can also book in to get weekly accountability with me as you start to implement the plan.
My aim with the Book Launch Navigator is to take some of the guesswork out of your social media marketing. Part of the reason why I love working with authors is to help them build plans that are calm and achievable, and I really hope that this will help do just that for your social media.

Frequently asked questions:
What do you get in the planner?
Within the planner there are five modules:
- A welcome video, which takes you through each section. You can watch this video for free here to get a walkthrough of the planner.
- A content pillars video exercise.
- A blank planner for you to populate with the ideas you want to move forward with.
- A fully populated 8 week plan, also known as the ideas bank.
- There is also a next steps section at the end.
Is this for fiction or non-fiction authors?
This tool was designed with fiction authors in mind. However, it was previewed by a non-fiction author who said she would have found the ideas very useful around her launch. The plan is designed so that you can use every post in the order I’ve planned them out OR use the blank planner to take the ideas that work for you and your book, and leave the rest.
Is this just for authors?
Yes, this is just for authors. I’m sure that if you’re creative you could apply the prompts to your creative small business or freelance work, but this is totally built with authors in mind.
Can I use this if I don’t have a new book to launch?
Yes. There are ideas in here which are specific to someone with a new book out, but there are also lots of evergreen ideas which can be used whenever you are stuck for things to talk about on social media.
Can I use this on my phone?
This tool was not designed for use on a mobile phone. Teachery is not mobile optimised and spreadsheets are very tedious to use on a small screen. If you are very keen to use it on a mobile device, you can email me and I will send you links to all of the videos / sheets outside of Teachery, but I do that with a huge caveat that this was designed to be used on a bigger screen.
